Heather, Keith, and Mike are running for re-election in the Village of Scotia because they believe the best solutions come from working together as neighbors—whether in the Village of Scotia or throughout the Town of Glenville. Together, they share a vision for Scotia-Glenville where all families, neighbors, and seniors thrive.

Keith Brown, MPH has been serving the residents of the Village of Scotia as Trustee
since 2022. Prior to that, Keith was a member of the Village Zoning Board of Appeals.
His background in public health, nonprofit, and public policy leadership, combined with
a dedication to serve the community where he and his family live have led Keith to this role.
While serving on the Village Board, Keith has worked hard to ensure that Village
residents retain the high quality services they value and improve service delivery. As fire
liaison, Keith assisted with labor negotiations and worked to successfully ensure that
Phase 1 of the Municipal Project came in under budget. He has continually held the line
on spending that is outside of the core services and infrastructure necessary for the
Village and its residents. As liaison to Special Events, Keith worked to implement a new
set of guidelines that make it easier for groups in the community to successfully plan
and hold events while addressing long-standing issues of fiscal management and
standardization.
He holds a Master’s in Public Health from SUNY Albany as well as a BA in
Community Mental Health from SUNY Buffalo and is also a member of the Alpha Gamma
Chapter of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health.
